We are thrilled to bring you the latest product developments from the Encord team after another exciting month of building. Today, we're excited to announce a massive set of updates to our platform and project analytics, aimed at transforming how AI teams manage and evaluate projects and data and label quality with Encord:
- Granular Label Quality Assurance - Fix annotation issues faster and understand common label rejection reasons at scale.
- Comprehensive Organization Analytics - Understand data throughput instantly with a centralized dashboard reporting on all projects, teams, and annotation activities with interactive visualizations and customizable reporting.
- Upgraded Project Analytics - Monitor project progress in real time and compare team performance with advanced filtering for targeted analysis.
Granular Label Quality Assurance
Encord is committed to enabling AI teams to improve data and label quality at scale without compromising development speed. Our redesigned annotation interface now offers a more intuitive, efficient, and scalable approach to managing annotation feedback and label rejections.
We have introduced the ability to raise “Issues” and leave "comments" within the annotation and review workflows, enabling teams to create threaded discussions and feedback tags, track issue statuses as well as gain visibility into improved analytics for common labeling errors.
- Threaded discussions and status tracking: Annotators and reviewers can now engage in threaded discussions for clear, contextual communication on individual issues. Each issue includes a “Resolved” or “Unresolved” status, enabling teams to track feedback from creation to resolution with ease.
- Enhanced filtering and sorting: Users can now prioritize tasks by issue status and address issue feedback and remediate annotation rejections with speed.
- Issue tags and analytics: Users can add tags to issues, helping categorize and surface common feedback patterns. Improved analytics enables teams to identify systemic issues, track improvements over time, and uncover areas needing further training or workflow adjustments.
With this update, AI teams will benefit from streamlined collaboration between annotators, reviewers, experts and admins to enable faster resolution of issues while providing analytics to optimize workflows through greater visibility into feedback trends.

Comprehensive Organization Analytics
Encord’s newly released, centralized analytics hub with interactive visualizations and flexible reporting enables organizations to optimize their AI annotation operations and clearly demonstrate the ROI of AI data pipeline investments. Teams can now take advantage of:
- Real-time analytics dashboard to instantly monitor label quality and annotation performance progress and issues at scale.

Upgraded Project Analytics
Encord’s upgraded Project Analytics interface gives admins and team managers increased visibility into team performance and project health and progress, teams can now:
- Track efficiency, quality, and project progress in real time with workflow performance metrics and advanced filtering for targeted analysis.
- Measure work time precisely with our fine-tuned timer algorithm that tracks to the nearest second while automatically excluding idle time.
- Export performance data as CSVs for external reporting and set up automated timer data export pipelines using our SDK.
This release helps AI teams to improve data quality and increase annotation throughput.
