Justin Sharps

Justin is the Head of Product Engineering at Encord. As Head of Product Engineering, he’s captivated by the potential of applying software engineering practices to scale the development of fundamental technologies. He is driven to advance software and AI daily. He leveraged a background in biochemical engineering to explore computational biology and move full-time into software engineering. He’s been fortunate to lead international technology teams at startups throughout his career and sees productizing and communicating technologies and their applications as a core step in the last mile of delivering value from technological progress.

Justin holds a B.S. in Chemical-Biological Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
