Joseph Tomlinson

Joseph is a Forward Deployed Engineer at Encord, working as a Software Engineer to embed directly with customers building Physical AI and multimodal AI systems. Before joining Encord, he spent nearly seven years at Luminance, progressing from Legal Technology Specialist through Release Engineer, Senior Technology Specialist, and Technology Specialist Manager, up to Principal Solutions Engineer and Principal MLOps Engineer. Across that time, he combined deep technical understanding with hands-on delivery, working closely with customers deploying AI into production. He started his career as an Analyst at EK Consulting.

Joseph holds a Master's degree in Physics with Theoretical Physics from the University of Manchester.
